Complete Demolition and Refit of Office Space

KBC was commissioned by ONProject to undertake a complete demolition and refit of AON’s office space on the top floors of 80 Collins Street, Melbourne. The project, executed over 9 weeks with a budget of $1.6 million, encompassed 1,100 square metres and was designed to create a modern and functional workspace.

The scope of work included the complete demolition of the existing space, with the exception of the corporate meeting rooms, which were retained and kept operational throughout the project. New electrical and mechanical infrastructure was installed, along with the construction of additional meeting rooms, a kitchen, and a reception area. The fitout also included new workstations and updated floor finishes, transforming the space into a contemporary office environment.

KBC successfully completed the project on time and within budget, ensuring that the corporate meeting rooms and lobby remained online for the client’s use during the fitout. The client was extremely happy with the result, and all AON employees have expressed their satisfaction with the new space. This project highlights KBC’s expertise in delivering complex office refits while maintaining critical operational areas for the client.
